I hope you all had a great week! These days of summer break seem to go so quickly. Our week consisted of doctor’s appointments and work…not all that exciting. As the weekend rolled around, things started looking brighter as it was jammed packed with family fun!
Family:

Our hopes came true at the start of the weekend with a healthy baby boy! This was a proud auntie moment when first meeting this perfect little guy. He had a room full of excited cousins and family that were so happy to welcome him into the world!
Fashion/Sunscreen:
My favorite outfit of the week along with my favorite sunscreen for the kids and myself!
I love easy outfits you can throw on and be ready for any occasion throughout the day or night. Spring weather is up and down, going from chilly to hot, dry to rainy…all in one day! An outfit like this will get you through anything the day, or the weather might bring.
Might I add these are my new FAVORITE shoes. They go with any outfit, season, or occasion. They are so cozy!

Lets talk sunscreen for a minute!
It was pointed out to me that the sunscreen my family was using was on the list of sunscreens NOT to use. I had no idea how important it was to pick your sunscreen brand wisely.
After researching sunscreens and the alarming effects the harmful chemicals can produce. I finally found a sunscreen that is said to be one of the safest to use. It was important to me to find one that was safe for everyone in the family, from baby to adult. With lots of research I finally found one!

Hair Care:
I suppose we all have a “go to” hair style. I get so many questions on how I curl my hair, so I wanted to share this with you all. Here is my “go to” quick and easy hairstyle. To the shock of many I get this style with a straightener and a touch of hairspray.

Here is a great hair tip for anyone who has dry hair or scalp.
- Melt coconut oil in a bowl.
- Massage the melted oil into the roots of your scalp and throughout your hair.
- Let it sit.
How long you let the oil sit is all in the amount of time you have available. I personally have let it sit while doing yoga or laundry for about an hour. Other times, when time is scarce, I let it sit for 10 minutes. I use this trick anytime I see visible dryness in my scalp. During visible dry times I try and treat my scalp and hair with coconut oil at least twice a week. Shower after treatment using shampoo and conditioner and you should see immediate results.
This is my favorite hair care trick because it is easy and natural.
Fitness:
I am easily working my way back to a regular workout routine. Here is the yoga pose of the week. Correct alignment in each posture is critical for getting the best benefit of each pose. As well as keeping your body safe from injury.

Faith:
Life is so busy and seems to continuously become faster pace with each passing day. My hope for us is to realize even with our busy schedules, how important it is to walk in faith daily. Sunday is an incredible day to reflect on the week that has past and look forward to the week ahead. As we look forward to a new week, may we take priority in reflecting on God daily.
Goal for this coming week:
Let us make it a priority to reflect on God daily through reading the bible and/or daily devotional. Praying continuously throughout every day.

I would love to hear your progress through comments or email!
Have a blessed week with lots of love!
