It’s the end of the day, you come home, your feet hurt, and you are mentally and physically exhausted. The thought of talking or even smiling anymore just seems tiring. This is the time, my friend, that you need a nice, relaxing, meditation bath.

I strive to take a meditation bath once a week and it really does hit the reset button for my mind and body. My favorite time is at the end of the work week, heading into the weekend. Or Sunday before the week begins. It is so calming to the mind and body, and helps to reboot my mind so that I can have a great night’s rest. Which begins the weekend or work week with a new relaxed perspective that allows me to be the best wife, mother, employee, and friend that I can be.
First, you need to find the perfect bath tray. After a lot of research I found this to be the very best for price and quality. I have been so pleased with this purchase and it still looks brand new!
Next, and very important is adding bath salts. I have used so many salts, and I have had some that give me such a headache I am unable to enjoy or relax.

I have ordered this one over and over again because it has the great benefits of epsom salt with a slight relaxing lavender sent. It is perfect, even for the most sensitive skin types (like mine).
Of course, you have to have the mask! After years (and years) of purchasing masks from literally everywhere. Each mask ended with one bad breakout to another. My skin is incredibly sensitive to the point that I gave up on using anything. Which was awful because you can’t get that “spa” feeling without a mask. I finally found one that I absolutely love. It has a thick “muddy” texture that goes on smoothly and feels incredible.
Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate! This is something I never took the time to do until the last year or so. And it is all thanks to finding this product. This is one stop exfoliation for the entire body, from forehead to toes. If you truly want that baby soft skin feeling, work off that dead skin, and workout ingrown hairs and blemishes get this product! It is truly amazing! (want a sample?!? contact me!)
So, I have become what some may call a tea junky. I absolutely love all things tea. From tea for energy in the morning such as matcha tea (you can read about HERE), to tea with relaxation and sleep benefits at the end of the day. Naturally, a relaxation bath is going to involve the best calming tea.
TIP: My children and I have special tea nights where I will make tea for all of us. We each have our little tea cups, and it becomes such a special time for us to have bedtime stories with our tea. They feel so special, and so do I!
Here are our two favorite teas for evenings:
I typically go for a traditional size tea cup and saucer for evening tea because the size is perfect, and they are just so cute!
For a bath time tea I do choose a coffee mug because I will be sipping a little longer.
Another option is loose leaf tea. This is a more environmental safe option, using loose leaf tea with a reusable filter.
Need a good book? This is a great summer read!
When you have your bath ready, perfect for you and your relaxation needs. It’s always great to take a few minutes to meditate and give the mind a bit of time to take a mental break in silence. Close your eyes and continue to focus on your intention. Or, if you need a little help there are meditation apps on your phone you can download and they can walk you through a meditation as long or short as you would like.
Trust me, you will not regret making this a habit in your own life. You and your body deserve and need this time to slow down. Give it a try!
With love,
Miranda
