Hi friends! From the bottom of my heart I hope everyone is safe and doing well. We are living in quite different forms of uncertainty right now. Although, I am unaware of your individual struggles in these times. I want to simply say wherever you are in this journey, you are in my prayers.
During the past couple months of staying home I have learned that simple acts of kindness can mean so much to someone. I feel this truth on a personal level because of my incredible sisters who have stopped by my house on many occasions to drop off little gifts, treats, or just a simple wave and smile. I cannot express the gratitude and pure joy that I have felt with each little visit. Their generosity has opened my eyes and planted a seed in my heart, that makes me want to bring the same joy to others that they have brought to my family. Is generosity contagious?!? I surly think so!
This specific post is zoning in on Mother’s Day that is coming up quickly. It is inevitable that things are going to look a little different this year as we continue through our social distancing journey. That does not mean we cannot make someone feel special. Whether it be your mother, sister, or friend I believe this is a great time to send someone a little something to let them know they are special to you. Or maybe this is a great time to schedule a drive by, a smile and a wave goes a long way (trust me, just this would be enough).
If you would like to go the gift route, here are a few ideas. You can drive by and drop it off if you are close. Or send a gift directly to their house.
Give the gift of an at home manicure and pedicure:
Give the gift of relaxation with an at home spa:
Give the gift of casual fashion with a little hidden message:
Give the gift of stress relief and health through tea:
Give the gift of warm weather/gardening essentials:
Give the gift of at home comfort:
I hope these ideas help to open your heart and mind, and that you venture into the true meaning of joy. Which is giving and loving others. Lots of love and blessings.
XOXO,
Miranda
